Want to spend an evening surrounded by people making a positive impact in their community? NEXTGen Detroit, Yad Ezra, Repair the World and Hazon invite you to come learn about innovative food justice and hunger-fighting initiatives taking shape in Detroit.
Join us for Do it for Detroit (Di4D), an annual event dedicated to supporting and raising awareness about local initiatives working to alleviate hunger and promote food justice in Detroit. This program consists of a micro-grant competition with the winner awarded a $3,000 grant and the runners up receiving $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. Audience members vote to determine the winner of the grant, so your opinion matters!
Funding for the grants has been generously donated by the William and Audrey Farber Family Foundation.
The application will be live from June 1 to July 1 2017.
